Prayer Request

Yesterday morning I found out that my Uncle Jose's prostrate cancer has spread to a lung and to his liver. That's my mother's brother. He basically played chance with his disease. It did not turn out in his favor. He decided some months ago that he would stop his treatment because he was worried about the med.s on his liver and now it has cancer too. He dislikes doctors, medicine and hospitals. He has been depressed, angry lost weight, and most importantly does not know the Lord Jesus. He is a stubborn man. I know God is still in control. I ask for prayer from you, for me to be used by God if its his will to present Jesus to him and if not me, that someone be put in his direct path. I know God can soften his heart of stone. This request is similar to a prayer, said to me by my mother in law a week before my mother died. I was not the one sent but God did send a woman to her hospital bed and she was saved. I had the best conversations about the Lord with my mother in her last days. I know its a small taste of conversations I will have again one day. Praise be to God! His work is done one way or another.
If you would take a moment to pray I would greatly appreciate it. Its the best we can do for him.
Thank you!

Busy Busy Spring

Its been a crazy past few months that passed very quickly. My kids will be home for the summer in a few weeks and it will be a different kind of busy. Kelly graduated a few weeks ago from Northeastern Illinois University with straight A's. She has a bachelors in Enviromental studies. As of the monday following her granduation, she has been working full time at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. In a few weeks Frankie will be graduating from Lane Tech. We will be having a party at home for them both on June 21st. We are very proud of them both. Frank wants to take an EMT class and go on to be a parametic-fireman. I am jsut not sure its his plan alone. His friend has been doing this and I am not sure why Frankie wants to follow in his footsteps but talks are in the making to get this straight and moving forward. I think he is better off going to Northeastern and after experiencing that, then maybe do the EMT course next summer if that's what he really wants to do. I just want the scholarship $$ to go to the right place. We had a great time in February with Donna and Sue's Families. The grand kids all were happy to see each other. It was a good day for mending the past. I know it was good for Donna and Sue.
